Accommodation Agreement
Liability & Disclaimer

1. Whilst all reasonable care and precaution is taken in looking after the dog/s at the Beagle Bed & Boarding, it is distinctly understood that no liability is incurred by the Proprietors in respect of any loss or damage to your pet/s through sickness, escape or from any cause whatsoever.
2. There is no need for beds and bowls to be sent along as the Beagle BnB holds its own. Owner leaves collars, leads and bedding at their own risk.
3. It is the owner’s responsibility to examine and satisfy themselves as to the suitability of the accommodation and facilities offered and on the payment of quote/invoice hereof agree that they are satisfied with such conditions.
4. It is understood that no dog will be accepted without proof of vaccination, completed booking form and proof of full payment prior to dropping off. Vaccinations must be done at least two weeks prior to check-in date. Proof of such must be provided before arrival. Please remember to check with your VET about the Kennel Cough inoculation, it is not always included as a standard. Without these the Beagle BnB reserves the right to cancel a booking. Owner will still be liable for the cancellation fee.
5. Un-spayed bitches and un-neutered males cannot be accepted. Exceptions can be made at the Proprietors discretion but owner must understand that “dogs will be dogs” and if any problem arises the necessary arrangements will be made to ensure the safety and comfort of other guests and residents staying at the Beagle BnB.
6. It is a requirement that all dogs are on an ongoing tick and flea preventative programme as well as dewormed before being checked in. If any signs of ticks/flea’s are evident, the dog/s will be treated with a suitable treatment if the Capstar administered upon arrival is not sufficient (we use Fiprotech/Advantage). All charges will be added to the account of the owner.
7. All food with full instructions will be supplied by the owner. If food is not supplied a charge of R15.00 per dog per meal will be added to the account of the owner. Please do not supply additional treats. Please write your dog(s') names on the container with feeding instructions. Please remember to pack the measuring cup marked with the portion size, we cannot weigh portions off. All food to be dropped in containers with lids - not shopping bags, open tubs or bowls or food bags.
8. Proprietor liable for any loss or damage to these items. No bedding, toys, treats and bowls to be brought along.
9. All dogs required to be microchipped. Should they not be microchipped they will be taken to our local VET at owners cost to be microchipped.
10. Account to be settled in full by agreed payment terms as on our website. The Beagle BnB holds the right to put forward a suggested payment schedule, should the payment schedule not suit you please e-mail to discuss a better suited plan to you.
11. The day of arrival and departure will be included in the number of accommodation days regardless of pick-up/drop off time. PLEASE NOTE: NO collections/drops on Saturdays
12. Drop and collection times as stipulated must at all times be adhered to. Please notify 0826691999 (Whatsapp only) / [email protected] should your arranged times change. Please send a message 20 minutes before arrival and then again when turning off the N1/at the 4way stop. Please do not hoot or shout at the gate. Give as at least a couple of minutes to come out if we are not already outside. We need to organise the guests inside first.
13. All rates refer to cost per stay and are subject to seasonal change. Please confirm current rates and changes as set out in our website.
14. Owners will be contacted in the case of a medical emergency. If the owners of a sick or injured animal could not be reached or the situation calls for a quick decision, the Proprietors will take whichever action they deem appropriate to alleviate the situation. All costs incurred will be for the owners account.
15. The choice of Veterinarian will be at sole discretion of the Proprietor. Both consent to treat forms for the local vet and the animal hospital need to be completed.

17. Cancellation
Should you want to cancel your reservation the following will apply:
Low Season ("days notice" before applicable drop-off date)
30+ days notice: 25% refund on deposit (or full deposit applied to next booking if made within 30 days of cancellation)
15 - 29 days notice: 50% refund on deposit (or full deposit applied to next booking if made within 30 days of cancellation)
14 days or less notice: no refund on payment (or 50% of payment received applied to the next booking made if made within 30 days of cancellation)
The "next booking" does not have to take place within 30 days, the booking just needs to be made within 30 days. If next booking is cancelled full ayment is forfeited.
High Season ("days notice" before applicable drop-off date)
46+ days notice: 25% refund on deposit (or full deposit applied to next booking if made within 30 days of cancellation)
31 - 45 days notice: 50% refund on deposit (or full deposit applied to next booking if made within 30 days of cancellation)
30 days or less notice: no refund on payment (or 50% of payment received applied to the next booking made if made within 30 days of cancellation)
The "next booking" does not have to take place within 30 days, the booking just needs to be made within 30 days. If next booking is cancelled full ayment is forfeited.

The Beagle BnB and it's owners/proprietors reserve the right to find alternative and appropriate accommodation at your cost for your dog should it be found that it does not socialize well. Efforts will be made to contact you in case of an emergency but should you not be reachable within an appropriate amount of time our discretion about the well-being of your dog to take the necessary steps to give it the best care possible will be made.
You leave your dog with us at your own risk and cannot hold us responsible for accidents or unexpected incidents.
It is your responsibility to notify us of health concerns, allergies, "bad habits" or anything pertaining to your dog's character prior to your dog's stay.
We cannot be held liable for any injury, loss or distress. You leave your animal with us at your own risk and will not hold us accountable in the event of injury, loss or death.
