A big thank you to everyone that attended any walks/meals/lectures, it is due to your participation and interest that made the week-end what it was.
The stunning (and secure) setting of Hawksmoor combined with (not too bad) "walkable" weather, fantastic speakers and proud Beagle owners gave us all a fun, informative, relaxed and enjoyable day/week-end.
But, it was all about the hounds and they definitely thought it was brilliant. No one can argue with seeing so many happy Beagle faces just being able to do their own thing, bounce and bound around like they own the place and sniff and explore everywhere they possibly can is simply one of the most awesome things to see.
Below we have some pics and the rest are all on our facebook Group Page.
Another big thank you that needs to go out is to our Speakers and Sponsors of the week-end.

Kay did a fantastic two lessons on Ttouch which also included leash work. This was not something all the owners enjoyed and we had a few heated moments between some of the hounds - but a fantastic topic (one that we at the BnB believe in considering for any dog) and a great speaker/lecturer.
The talk on Biologically Appropriate Nutrition for your Beagle was very informative and many questions got answered. Tim coming over from Petlovers was a really nice surprise and we would like to thank Champion Pet Foods for their Acana Adult Samples donated for the Goodie Bags (as well as a generous donation to our Breakaway Raffle with a 2.27kg Orijen Adult for first prize and 2.27kg Acana Adult for second prize). Another big thanks to Roxy and Tim from Petlovers for generously giving us discount vouchers on Orijen or Acana 13kg bags of food and waiving the delivery fee. These vouchers were handed out on the day (if you did not get one and would like one please contact me). These vouchers are also part of the Breakaway Raffle.

Claire also sponsored a Gift Certificate for 3 Clicker Training Sessions valued at R750. All that booked to attend the Clicker Training on Sunday had their name put in a draw for this prize and the winner was Natasha Angouras & Greg Hyson with their faithful hound Gus.
To finish off the week-end we had Dr Monique Crouch come and present to us about Pet Rehabilitation and the Wellness of your Beagle. Another very informative talk and we were all hounding (excuse the pun) her after to have our dogs' weights "graded". "A little on the fat side" was the general consensus (my words, Dr Crouch was far better at being more diplomatic :-)

Anothe big thank you to Tanya de Ville from Beagleshop.co.za who part sponsored the actual bags for the Goodie Bags.
