Letter to my master

In the morning you got up early and you packed your suitcases.
You took my lead. Oh, was I happy! Still a little walk before you
leave – hurray!
We went by car and after a while you stopped next to a field.
The door opened and you threw a little stick. I ran until I found the stick
and grabbed it with my teeth, but when I came back you were gone!
I panicked and ran in all directions to find you, but it was in vain.
I became weaker and weaker every day. Then a stranger came,
put a collar on me and took me with him.
Soon I found myself in a cage and I waited for you to return, but you did
not come. Then, someone opened the cage – It wasn’t you – it was the man
who found me. He took me to a room – it smelt of death! My time has come.
Dear master, I want you to know, that I will always remember you, in spite
of all the harm you did to me. If I should come back to earth again, I would
happily run towards you, because I loved you so!!!!!
