Q: Why do we have to come for a "Meet 'n Greet" before our dog(s) come to stay?
A:
There are multiple reasons for a meet and greet.
1. Due to the nature of our set-up (no kennels) we have to ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests. A meet and greet allows us to assess your dog and its temperament as to whether they will be comfortable in this environment. (It may look like doggy heaven to you, but not all dogs are comfortable with the set-up)
2. For your hounds well-being. If they have a meet and greet and get to have a good sniff around, when it comes to the time of you dropping them off it will be far less traumatic for them. The place and smells will not be completely new. We have found they settle in far more quickly by doing this.
3. You get to see the place and chat with us and decide whether you are happy to leave your hounds with us.
