- 3,5 litres Savlon was used (we put it in the wash with soiled blankets & bedding)
- A total of 33 litres of white spirit vinegar (we use it for laundry and floor cleaning to "kill" smells)
- 35kg of washing powder was used
- A total of 1178 washes were done
- 8 litres surgical spirits was used (inside and outside to "kill" the scents)
- 6kg Bicarbonate of soda was used in laundry and floor cleaning
- 3 litres stain remover was used
- A total of 3247 poos were picked up (on walks, in the garden and in the house)
- The girls were the worst for weeing and pooing inside
- Only the girls ever weed on bedding other than one wanna-beagle male pup
- The most the same blanket was washed in one day was 4 times due to being weed on
- The tumble dryer was used 885 times for blankets and bedding
- We had one "escape" due to a meet and greet owner ignoring the "close the door before you open the gate" rule. No one went any further than the edge of the lawn. The two dogs did not come to stay after said meet and greet.
- Two blocks of cheese were sneaked off the counter
- One block of butter got pulled off but saved
- A bite was taken out of a bread on the counter
- One guest's bowl was broken
- Water bottles were filled 657 times
- Two duvets were donated (Thank you Lynne!)
- Two laptop cables were chewed through
- The biggest "family" to come visit is 4
- 3 trips to the VET was made (two trips for one Kennel Cough incident and one for a torn ear due to a fighting incident)
- A pair had to have their stay at the BnB cut short due to aggression of one. We had to move them to a kennel.
- We had 4 major thieves stay, only one was successful in stealing some cheese. The other items "thieved" was Fudge's doing.
- One garden was pulled up
- One Beagle playground was built
- One Beagle playground was taken down (watch our blog)
- 2014 we will not have more than 10-11 dogs per day
- Whether the stay was long or short - every single one of them found a special place in our hearts and we would like to thank you for making the Beagle BnB a great starting success in 2013. We have a lot planned for 2014 so keep in touch. Thank you for the privilege of trusting us with your pets'. We learnt so much from each and every one of them and loved getting to know each one's individual and special character.
